Fried pork loin with potato

South Carolina Mustard BBQ Sauce

  • 4 Tbsp butter
  • 1/2 onion, grated
  • 3/4 cup yellow mustard
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp dry mustard
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp cayenne or chili powder
  • Sea salt, to taste

Heat butter over medium heat until frothy. Add onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes (do not let the onions brown). Add everything else, stir well and simmer on low for approximately 30 minutes.

Tip—use this sauce at the end of grilling meat to avoid burning.
