Mustard-peppercorn Steak Rub

  • 2 Tbsp grain mustard
  • 1 Tbsp freshly cracked pepper
  • 1 Tbsp fresh tarragon, chopped
  • 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 pound beef steak of your choice

Mix first 5 ingredients in a small bowl. Stir to combine. Pat steak dry with paper towel. Use fingers to apply rub over entire surface of steak, making sure to coat both sides. Grill steak until internal temperature reaches high enough to achieve desired doneness. Remove from heat and allow to rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
